In Ethan's Fifty Fifth Month he spent a long weekend at 'Myalls Away farm stay' and learned to love the Country life. It was like going back in time for Daddy (he grew up on a farm) but he enjoyed sharing it with Ethan. There were ponies (above) and pigs (below), Ethan just loved these and could not wait for each mornings feeding time and pony ride.
There were pigeons, very friendly ones in fact.
But as brave as Ethan was with all those other animals, that little guinea pig seemed the scariest of them all.

But even that Guinea pig got a little less scary after a few days (and Daddy's help).
There were cute little chick (the baby chicken we mean, not the owner Claire in the background, she was very nice though).
Ethan went on this farm stay with his friend from school Tristan and his family. Funny that there were no photos taken of the adults??? But here are Ethan, Tristan, Tristan's sister Bianca and her friend Marina. Oh yes of course Jack, look at him, wanting more petting, as always...
The boys called themselves the 'hay monsters'!
Mummy's favorite part was boating on the lake, Daddy did all the work it seems.During the month Ethan caught up with 2 friends to say goodbye, so sad. Floyd came round for an afternoon visit and pizza making before he moved with his family to Byron Bay. Ethan will miss him at school but Byron is not too far away so he hopes he will get to visit him sometime soon.
Then Ethan met up with Charlie for an afternoons picnic and swim at Shelley beach before Charlie moved back to Belgium. Belgium is not so close and it is sad to see Charlie move so far away being one of Ethan's first friends from his ABC school days. Hopefully they will meet again some day.
Ethan made his second visit to the optometrist this month, no problems, Mummy and Daddy just love being told Ethan has perfect blue eyes and Ethan loves to wear the cool Harry Potter glasses :-)
Last but certainly not least, Ethan is very much looking forward to Christmas this year, only 21 days to go! He has been a good boy and he has sent his letter off to Santa. He is just hoping Santa will find a way in to deliver Ethan's pressies as there is no chimney??? Mummy promised to leave the door open for him though so hopefully those pressies will arrive to show in next months blog!
