Fiftieth Month

In Ethan's Fiftieth Month he celebrated his 4th Canada day. He managed to get his school in on the fun by sending in all his decorations and wearing his Canada t-shirt (thanks Pa!). One of the other Dad's came in for the morning and made pancakes for all the kids, what a great way to celebrate Canada day in Australia!

Now that winter is here and Ethan is not able to pop down to Fairlight beach for a swim in the evenings... he has started back into swim school. 2 weeks back and already they can see how much he has improved over the summer, he has been promoted to a grade 3 swimmer and look, no more bubble! Well done Ethan.

Ethan made his second visit to the dentist this month, he was very brave. This year they did more than just count his teeth, they actually cleaned and put fluoride on them. He liked the yummy banana flavored fluoride, shame he only gets to go once a year... During the month Ethan was his regular socialite self... going to the movies with Floyd (Toy story 3d rocks!).
Tyson came round for a play...

Met up with Tristan at the park (was this see-saw ride for Ethan or Daddy's entertainment... we are not sure???).

And Nathan's Birthday party at Clown town .
Ethan even rode the Clown town tea cups this time, very brave, yelling "faster, faster" with his friends in the cup with him (peer pressure begins?).
Ethan enjoyed walks along Manly beach as always, heading for the rocks instead of the sand this time round.
And some quiet fun time at home included making 'cup aliens' that he learned to make at school. He now has 22 of them!!!And to think... Mummy and Daddy thought they had to spend lots of money on toys when all they really needed were some plastic cups, a few buttons, old material and tape. Ethan had so much fun, who would have guessed???Last but not least... after 6 months WITHOUT a television, finally... Ethan has a new television at home... what a big television it is!!! Let's hope he is still happy with cup aliens and does not want to spend ALL day watching Ben10.
