Bula! (
Fijian = Hello in Canada or
g'day in Oz) In middle of Ethan's Fifty first and fifty second months he went on holiday to Fiji. That will be why the months are combined... It was time for a holiday, Ethan had been asking for a while and with Daddy starting a new position, look out Fiji, the Q's were on there way!
Ethan very much enjoyed the 'kids club' at the resort he went to. They had parties every night, fun and games every day, who needed Mummy and Daddy???
He did make a few trips with them though, to keep them happy. A walk out on the reef with lots of blue star fish around.

Day trip to local village of
Sigatoka - I think we picked the right bridge to cross!

Hanging out in trees.

And with free tennis at the resort, Ethan made the most of it and got out most days for a hit. Mum & Dad were most impressed how quick he picked up this new sport in just a few days... look out
Lleyton!

Ethan took part in the coconut throwing competition. He did his best but that girl behind him was just to good... tough being beaten by a girl :-(

Here we are all dressed up for our the last night in Fiji, Ethan hits the kids club '
Meke' party and Mum and Dad treat themselves to a 'kid free' dinner.

Just before the holiday, Ethan started tennis lessons with coach 'Howard' and his friends Tristan, Tyson and
Samarra. Here they all line up and throw balls at Howard, how much fun is that!

Last weekend Ethan & Daddy made a special trip on there own to Cockatoo Island. Cockatoo Island is the largest island in Sydney Harbour, is a former imperial prison and is heritage listed. Ethan could hardly believe Mummy & Daddy had never been there before. Finally it was time to take advantage of the family
fun day Sunday tickets and catch a ferry over.

Tennis seems to be a theme this entry but this has to be the best tennis court EVER on Cockatoo island! Great views and a lovely grass court, no chance if your ball goes over the fence here though.

Ethan was lucky enough to spend a day in his Daddy's new office this last month. Everybody was so nice, there were so many treats brought in and Daddy took Ethan for a swim at lunch time. Not much work got done that day, maybe just a little, when Ethan took a small cat nap in the corner after all the mornings excitement.

Last but certainly not least, Elly moved away last month... Ethan is so very sad :-( She is still the girl he hopes to marry one day so they will keep in touch of course. They did get together for one last swing at the local park before the moving truck came... but it is not quite the same since she left, not bumping into her regularly out the front door... we miss you Elly (Geoff, Lisa & Jazzy)!
