ETHAN TURNS FOUR!!!

This month Ethan turned 4!!! Hard to believe but true... His Birthday celebrations were not restricted to the day, Oh no, Ethan had a Birthweek to finish off his forth year. He started with a long weekend away with his Mum and Dad in Nelson bay, back to school on Tuesday the 4th (May the 4th be with you!) to celebrate there bringing chocolate cupcakes for all of this friends, THEN had the real Birthday blowout at Kidz Connection! Phew, he will need a year to recover from this years celebrations.

During the month it was all go as well with Easter celebrations which included of course a visit from the Easter bunny and lots of chocolates to be found...

This Easter also included Ethan's very first trip to the Easter show, Mum & Dad have not even been to the Easter show before! Floyd and his Mum Sarah offered to take Ethan for this first trip as it seems Sarah is a pro at this event and a pro she was. Planned the day to perfection ensuring that Ethan and Floyd got to milk, cows, see the pigs, go on load of rides and then the piece de resistance... they saw 'Robosaurus: the metal munching, fire breathing, car-eating dinosaur', wow!

As you can imagine both boys were pretty beat and had long nap on the drive home...Ethan invited Floyd back the following week for a sleepover and could hardly compare with the Easter show outing but did take Floyd to Taronga Zoo the next morning. The two of them thought they were expert map readers (usually maps were being read upside down...), and managed to get to all the main attractions.

Including lunch and a lolly at the bird show.

Then a trip back up the hill in the cable car while checking out those views of Sydney.

Lucky Elly was off on Holiday for a bit in New Zealand this month but she and Ethan still managed to find some watermelon time in their pillow cave (made from the lounge couch).To finish off as we have in years before, we update you on....

SOME OF ETHAN'S FAVORITE THINGS... AGE FOUR:

Height/Weight - 106.5cm (3ft 6in)/17kg (37.4lbs)

People - New teachers in the Gumnut room are Jodi, Wendy and Purnima. Elly and Floyd are still top of this list in friends with Elly in the lead for the person he wants to marry but some days asks why he can't marry Floyd??? Boys are certainly more interesting when it comes to playing these days but we think he is still a bit of a ladies man as many of the Mums from daycare have told his Mum that their daughters call Ethan their 'boyfriend'...

Food - Pasta, porridge (every morning...), custard and basically anything sweet!

Toys - Ben 10, Leggo, dinosaurs, fighting stuff... Ethan does like to play, play, play, all day.

Do - Play fighting with Daddy, dancing, playing (see above), coloring/drawing/writing his name.

Favorite things to say - "Bon apadinner", "So, how was your day?", "Well actually"

Dislikes - Still not big on salad...
