Forty Seventh Month

In Ethan's Forty Seventh Month as he eagerly awaits the arrival of the Easter bunny (one more sleep!) he had a special visitor for the Easter weekend. Razi is from Ethan's school and he visits each of the children for a week during the year and they have to show Razi round their house and the town. How lucky Ethan was to have him for the long weekend! Ethan took him to lunch today at the newly opened 'Manly Pavilion' (look at the views...) and introduced Razi to Nicky and Lala over a very fine lunch.
Razi did have a home cooked meal, so it hasn't all been fine dining, he had to settle for a roast chicken on his first night with the Q family.

Ethan taught Razi how to play Monopoly.
And cuddled in for a good nights sleep (before the chocolate hunt tomorrow morning!).
During the month Ethan caught up with his friend Lex from Mothers group at Lagoon park, one of his oldest friends you know. He has know Lex since he was 5 months old. Can you believe they will both be 4 in a months time???

Speaking of turning 4... Ethan's good friend Floyd turned 4 this month and had a HUGE party to celebrate. The party was fancy dress so Ethan thought he would be the only pirate there...
Xavier AND Floyd came in pirates costumes as well... Oh well, some handsome pirates they all were.
Pirate costumes and the party got a little hot so Ethan and his friend Tristan ditched the costumes and hit the water!
But made it back just in time for cakes.
Pirate cakes of course, Ahoy there me hardy!
For anyone that didn't know... pasta is Ethan's favorite meal, he would eat it every night if he could! Now he has an excuse, he is in training, he will be running the Mothers day classic next month (a great way to celebrate Mothers day AND raise funds for breast cancer research!). Pasta makes you fasta didn't you know? So here he is, stocking up on his carbs. He has been out for a few training runs, he's all set to do his first 4km run(&maybe some walk...) next month.
Ethan is in full charitable mode now and was more than happy to support the Leukemia foundation in March with their 'Crazy hair day' at school, pretty crazy hair indeed!
A new arrival at the zoo meant Ethan had to make a visit, Luk Chai (now 8 months) has a baby cousin still called 'shuffles' at the time of Ethan's visit but since has been named 'Pathi Ham'. He was hard to catch sight of, hiding under his Mum but Ethan did manage to get this photo for you. If you haven't heard about this miracle baby elephant, you can read more about him here http://www.taronga.org.au/tcsa/media/media-releases/mr-shuffles-named-pathi-harn---thai-for-
Last but not least... a funny story and a sure sign that Ethan is growing up, he went down and made himself his first Breakfast all on his own while Mummy and Daddy were still in bed this month! What do you think of his breakie creation, think it will catch on? Menu that morning was Custard with a marshmallow on top... good choice Ethan :-)
