Forty Second Month

In Ethan's Forty Second Month he celebrated his 4th Halloween. Usually the party is at his place but this year with renovations happening at home... luckily Ethan's school was putting on a party. Can you guess what this years costume was? Mummy made a great start and put together a great dinosaur head but never got round to sewing the costume so this dinosaur was wearing his combats and crocs. At least his tail was poking out the back! Mummy was one of the few adults to dress up, she never misses a chance to wear a costume, this year she was 'Cruela de Ville' (101 Dalmatian fame...). The back up plan if Ethan's dinosaur costume had not worked out was for him to be one of her dalmatians :-)
Ethan was so into his dress up during the month, he improvised with a box from his new fridge and became a pirate in his new pirate ship!
The dalmatian costume did not go to waste though, Isla from school celebrated her birthday with a fancy dress party, without Cruela though he called himself a spotty bear.More yummy party food, Ethan does like birthday parties...
So he went to another... Ella celebrated her 2nd and Ethan was there to help her eat cake (what is it with Daddy copying EVERYTHING Ethan wears...).Daddy's birthday is not far off so Ethan treated him to an early present, now Daddy has a scooter just like Ethan!
Mummy's not got a scooter but during the month the Q family did partake in 'ride to work' day and we all rode our bikes in that day, not just Daddy (he rides everyday).

The tickets were bought months ago and Ethan has been waiting FOREVER but finally it was time to see the 'Thomas and Friends' stage show. Not only was it a great show but Ethan got to share the fun with his two best friends Floyd and Elly, what a lucky boy!
Now he does not want you thinking it has been all play and no work, Ethan has been helping out lots with the renovations. Painting with Daddy...And cleaning with Mummy... HOPEFULLY next month it will all be finished and he can show you his new and improved home!
