Forty First Month

In Ethan's Forty First Month he helped lots of friends celebrate their Birthdays once again, tough job but somebody has to do it, Ethan does enjoy a good party! There was Stephie and Bas' birthday in the park where they had a clown painting faces, Ethan had her paint him up as 'Galaxar' the baddy from the 'Monsters vs Aliens' movie (above -if you don't know Galaxar, you can see the model in his right pocket). Then there was Charlie's 4th birthday party, Nicky's 40th (he enjoyed that night being the only child...) , then Lucien turned 1 today (below). Still more parties to come next month, a very birthday busy time of year!Ethan caught up with his friend Floyd during the month and for a change (from the zoo) went to the aquarium. Attended a protest in Manly to 'Save the penguins' - hopefully he does not regret this protest when he turns 18 and there are no more pubs left in Manly...
And finally... after 3 years of gazing over the fence at Sam and Emily (his 10 and 7 year old neighbors) he got to go over and play with them. He bounced with them on their trampoline...
Ethan and Sam took on Elly and Emily in a round of ping pong...
And Emily played the piano for them all! Ethan had actually invited Sam, Emily and Elly round to his house for afternoon tea but his house was in no shape for visitors that week (see next photo...).Mum and Dad had some people come in and knock out a wall in the kitchen! Not sure what this is all about but Ethan thinks he overheard them say another wall is being knocked out in the lounge next week!! And Mummy was all excited about selling 'the old kitchen' on eBay, hopefully his house is back to normal soon, maybe next month he will have more photos to show???
Other news - as he hears it made 'worldwide news', Ethan thought he should mention the dust storms that hit Sydney this month. The worldwide photos you may have seen did not include Ethan so here he is, Ethan as the 'Orange dust' took over Fairlight at dawn...
Last but not least, as the start of the school holidays and labor day weekend in Australia, there are lots of kids events going on over the next few weeks. Ethan got to make his second trip to the theatre today, this show was 'Jack, Milly and the dancing cat'. See them below as they wave good-bye and we say good-bye to you, until next month that is...
