Forty Third Month

In Ethan's Forty Third Month he made a new friend. Bethany came from the UK to meet Ethan for the first time. He had met her Mum and Dad (Becky and Lee) before but this was the first time he met their daughter. And what a cute little girl she is :-) She was suffering a little from jet lag but Ethan did his best to make her first visit to Oz a good one and showed her around as best he could. Above they are playing in the whitest sands in the world (no lie - Guinness book of world records says it is so!) at Hyam beach. Then below he showed her the docks in Huskisson before they headed out whale watching in Jervis Bay.Here is Mummy, Ethan, Becky and Bethany, looking out for those whales. Yes we saw lots of them but surprisingly... more from Hyam beach than when we actually paid to be out in a boat looking for them...
We all camped out at Cave beach camp ground while at Jervis bay, no one seems very impressed with dinner in this photo, Mummy must be cooking :-) Actually it was the Dads cooking that night, Lee the expert chopper and Daddy Q on the BBQ, not sure why they are looking at the food so funny. This was Bethany's first camping trip and she did pretty good. She woke one night at 10pm and had a bit of a tanty but that kept all noisy partying neighbors real quiet from then on!
Here is Ethan posing from the camp ground, this is his blog after all, not enough photos of him so far :-) Mummy and Ethan did a bit of climbing while in Huskisson, Ethan being his brave ol' self had to be coaxed up... but he made it in the end.
On the way to Huskisson Ethan stopped off for lunch and a peek at Kiama blow hole about 2hrs South of Sydney, not much ocean blowing through the hole that day, just Ethan with his cheezy grin in this shot.Well that was it for travels and visitor updates this month but some good news from back at home FINALLY the renos are finished and home is back to livable conditions! Ethan helped out with a few more task and made an exciting venture into the loft (aka attic for the Canadians) to store some of the reno supplies...
Now finally he can just sit back and enjoy his new and improved home! All set and ready for Santa to come next month...
