Fourteenth Month

In Ethan’s Fourteenth month he celebrated his second Canada day. He celebrated his heritage at ‘Victoria Cross’ bar in North Sydney. They were hosting their 9th annual Canada celebrations, always a good place to enjoy the day. Ethan wore his new Roots Canada sweat shirt (thanks Uncle Tony!) and enjoyed the free pancakes on offer. Dad drank the Caesars and Kokanee beer while Mum and Yvonne tucked into their poutine, Yum.

Where Ethan and Mum used to meet up with their parents group every Monday, they are now missing out on the group meetings :-( Luckily the group has arranged to get together the 2nd Sunday of every month now so Ethan will be able to keep in touch with his 'first' friends. It is tough to get 7 families together regularly so Amelia and Zoe are missing from this photo but now that we have a set weekend, if we miss someone this month, we can see them next.

Ethan is still enjoying his days at day care, this month they had a pajama party, a ‘green’ day as well as a super hero day. I suppose Ethan didn’t really take much notice but Mum & Dad sure enjoyed dressing him up in his ‘Super EQ’ outfit.

They are also bringing out his artistic talents at day care, he enjoys painting very much, even if he does forget sometimes that he is not meant to eat the paint. Thank goodness it is water based...

At the end of the month Ethan's Mum had to go out of town on business for a few nights. Ethan wore his new 'Tokyo' t-shirt and practiced on his book phone as he sat by his Mum's bags waiting for her to leave. The good news is she is back now, Ethan & Dad had a great time without Mum around. Dad even managed a night out and Auntie Yvonne stayed home with Ethan. He is such a lucky and easy going boy, just happy to hang out with any one that gives him lots of cuddles...
