Tenth Month

In Ethan's Tenth Month his aunt Yvonne arrived from Canada for a 3 month visit. It took Ethan and Yvonne a little while to get to know each other. Both a little trepidatious at first but they soon bonded and Yvonne is now even accepted as an equal replacement for Mum or Dad while they are back at work. Yvonne & Ethan spend two days a week on their own now Mum is back working 4 days a week. Ethan has even taken Yvonne to his local zoo to meet all of his animal friends (above photo).

Yvonne has joined in with the family routines, including parents group, playgroup, Fairlight beach, walks to Manly and the longer weekend hikes. Photo above was taken as we rested during a coastal walk in nearby Collaroy.

Ethan is getting even steadier on his feet, he crawls between, then stands from object to object even letting go on the odd occasion without realizing and standing free for a few seconds. Bets are on for when he will first walk... What's your bet?

Mum and Yvonne went away to the Great Barrier Reef for 4 days this month, leaving the boys at home alone. When they returned Ethan had grown 2 more teeth (now a total of 6). Ethan is babbling but still no definite words, unless the dictionary considers 'Rahrdadadibaba' a legitimate entry??? More bets for his first distinguishable word?
