In August 2011 Ethan went to an open day at his new 'big school' Manly Village. He will be starting there in January 2012 and cannot wait! It was a little scary and there aren't many of his friends from the Roundhouse going to the same big school next year. But, Xavier who was at the Roundhouse last year is there now and Ethan got to see him in his class during our visit. Good that Ethan will know someone when he does start.

Ethan still loves going to his day care at the Roundhouse but has been much enjoying his Mondays at home as well. Tristan doesn't go to day care on Monday's either so the boys are regularly getting together to hang out in Manly, so nice now that spring is here.

At the very end of the month (officially September but just...) Ethan got away for a long weekend with his Mum, Dad, the Jorgensens & the Okamuras to the Wollongong Surf Leisure resort.

There was some surf... And some tennis... Fun in the pool... not really sure where the 'leisure' fit in... but it was a good weekend.

Last but not least Ethan celebrated Fathers day while away for the long weekend with a 'fresh' but sunny spring body surf in Wollongong with his Dad. It may be spring and the air is warming up but the water does not seem to be co-operating... still a very chilly 16.5 degrees. Brrrr, wetsuits definitely required!
