Thirty Second Month

In Ethan’s Thirty Second Month he would like to wish you all a very Happy 2009! He has really enjoyed the Holidays this last month and hopes that you have as well. He was very brave this year with Santa as you can see in the first photo. He just marched straight up and told Santa “I’m Ethan, I want a scooter”… “Please”. He would not smile for the camera but at least he was not screaming for his Mummy like he did in last years photo.

Ethan seems to say he has had a busy month very often but this month was EXTREMELY busy. Ethan had four Christmas parties, went to a Wiggles concert, has been to the movies twice (once in 3D), has been to the circus, Kayaked to Balmoral beach (3hr return trip!) of course there was Christmas day AND then the Manly fire works on New Years Eve, phew! Ethan has also had his Daddy at home with him since the 23rd of December so with all of this late night partying and special attention at home with Daddy, it could be tough getting back into a regular routine at his new school next Tuesday… But we will worry about that on Tuesday... Now on to the photos of this busy month.

Ethan was a Superstar at his School Christmas Party (his Mum and Dad thought so!). He was an adorable little Elf and was sat out front and centre, he knew all of the moves and all of the words, Mum and Dad were very proud!

Here we have a close up of Ethan in his Elf costume, in case you had not picked him out above.
Party number 2 was at Luna park, Mummy's work took us there for the day, here we have Mummy and Ethan at the entrance.
Then on the Ferris Wheel. Check out Ethan's hair, no he has not been swimming... it was 36 degrees that day, very hot.

Here we have Ethan posing with Elly at party number 3, the Strata Christmas party, two very cute Naughty kids.

Here we have the 4th party, Ethan had his second meeting with Santa at the Parents Group Christmas party, very brave once again.
Then we have all the Parents group kids posing with Santa, except Amelia, she still wasn't too sure about this funny bearded man so kept her distance...
Amelia and the parents agreed to pose for this shot, only once Santa was out of sight...
On to the Wiggles concert, our seats were pretty far from the stage as you can see...

But that did not stop Ethan from showing off all of his wiggle dance moves to Elly, we think she was pretty impressed!
And here Ethan is on Christmas morning, Santa has been and look at the tree and all of the presents he brought Ethan!
One very big present, look at this train set, Choo Choo! then of course...

A SCOOTER!!!!!

After opening all of the presents and feasting on Christmas Breakfast, the Quartly family made their annual Christmas trip into Sydney to see the decorations at David Jones and Martins Place, we even stopped in for mass at St Mary's Cathedral this year.


You may notice it is looking very green at Martins Place (below), Ethan's Canadian family and friends may be shocked to hear but he has not seen any snow in his 32 months of life. That could change very soon though...
