World #3 - 'Seaworld' was an expensive way to see lots of water and dolphins when for us in Manly we get both of these for free. But there were lots of other things to see and do, including rides, a Sesame Street dance show and a pretty amazing water skiing spectacular.
No more Worlds just one last walk at sunset along 'Broadbeach' where we stayed with 'Surfers Paradise' skyline in the background.
At the end of the month we went down to Jervis Bay with Steve for a couple of days. If you are an avid reader of this blog you will know that Jervis Bay is a favorite haunt of ours, 2 1/2 hours drive south of Sydney. Ethan was looking forward to some whale watching there, and can be seen on keen look out at the stern of the boat with Mummy...
Unfortunately he found that whale watching was quite tiring work... Can you spot the toy whale in his hand? Luckily when the action started he woke to see lots of dolphins and humpback whales (although he called the whales "big dolphins"). They are both mammals so not so far from the truth I guess, clever boy :-)
Here we see Ethan back on 'Terra Firma' with Dad in Huskisson overlooking Jervis Bay.
And the next morning at Hyams beach with Mummy. He likes those Jervis Bay beaches you know, they are in the Guinness Book Of Records for having the whitest beaches in the world!
Then he stopped off in Bowral on the way home from Jervis Bay for the annual 'Tulip festival' which marks for us the start of spring in New South Wales.
To finish off a busy month Ethan had another Birthday party to attend. He helped his friend Charlie from day care to test out his new 'Frucks' at Balmoral Beach park, a few minutes drive from home (in our car not the truck).
Before Ethan signs off he just wants to make sure you are all aware that the 'Manly Sea Eagles' (Ethan's Rugby League Team) are in the Grand Final this weekend. Hopefully you will see him celebrating the win in next months blog, GO MANLY!!!
