Twenty Seventh Month

Ethan started off his Twenty Seventh Month with a days trip (on the ferry!) into Sydney to the Aroma festival. A lovely morning out with lots of yummy treats and coffee's for only one dollar! Mum and Dad tested out a few coffee's but Ethan stuck with to his babycino's, he is trying to cut back on his caffeine intake these days. Ethan measured up against the giraffe wall this month, with all that he can eat we thought he must be going through a growth spurt but he has only grown 1.5cm (excluding fluffy hair...) since we last measured him. Guess the eating has only added to his Panda belly growth :-)
Speaking of Pandas, it has been almost been a month since Ethan went to see his first movie at the picture house (Kung Fu Panda) but he has not forgotten Panda, oh no... Ethan has gone Panda mad! He has a Panda photo in his room, spends his travel time to and from day care every day spotting Panda billboards and buses. Below he shows us his Panda belly! This past weekend, Engineering Week brought the Navy to Manly and Ethan really enjoyed the show they put on for him. He sat back on the beach enjoying a picnic lunch with Mummy and Daddy while a man was rescued by the helicopter and put back on his boat. Ethan has told the rescue story "Helicopter 'n Man 'n water" over and over and over and over, ever since...
He enjoyed the show so much while Daddy wasn't looking he buried his stuffed sheep 'Bach' hoping the Helicopter might come back and rescue Bach as well... Luckily Mum & Dad rescued the sheep while packing up the picnic and he is safe and sound back at home drying out in front of the fire after a hot bath.
