Twenty Forth Month

In Ethan's Twenty forth Month, he turned two, where has the time gone!!! He is now weighing 14 kg and is 90 cm tall (that's 3 foot). For his Birthday he got lots of great gifts including his garage (above) from Gramma Lana and the gift that 'Pa' arranged when he was in Australia was picked up on morning of Ethan's Birthday. Ethan is now the proud owner of a kayak called the 'S.S. Pa' (see below). After picking up 'S.S. Pa' he had breakfast out with Mummy and Daddy, went home and opened all of his cards and presents, then in the afternoon after his nap he took 'S.S. Pa' out for her Maiden voyage. Ethan did a grand job of calling the strokes "1,2,1,2,1,2" as we paddled, he is the captain of this steam ship after all (even if all of the steam is coming from Mummy & Daddies paddles)!

Ethan's parent group party was held in a local park on Sunday the 4th, here we are all singing round the amazing '2' cake.

It was a real party weekend for Ethan and it was tough to keep up but he managed to eat his share of the cake, he must have learned his party stamina from his Auntie Von when she was in town :-)

Yes, it was Mummy's Birthday as well so we are following on the annual photo tradition. We were out for a walk on the afternoon of the 4th in our new Birthday coats when Daddy got this shot.

During the month the circus came to Manly so Ethan saw his first clowns and acrobats. He wasn't too sure about any of the show and spent all of it clung to his Mum but he was much braver in the light of day when we came out of the tent and really enjoyed watching the ponies.

Otherwise it was a pretty quiet month with Mummy and Daddy both suffering from the flu (lucky for Ethan it did not seem to catch him). Mostly we just hung out, took it easy at home and took some silly photos...
